Smith Point Hawkwatch report for Sept 19

Smith Point Hawkwatch report for Sept 19. Started the day with a Peregrine Falcon and 2 Swallow-tailed Kites, on of them the wings and tail were quite long. Nice mix of species today. Mild north and northeast winds slowly shifted to moderate southeast winds. Some birds of note: 33 White Pelicans, 1 female Black-chinned Humming Bird, 2 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers and Joe K spotted a Lark Sparrow. Bob
